TECHNICAL SERVICES

  • We can Completely Take Down and Service any Bow or Crossbow. To provide the Best Customer Service, we find it necessary to continually upgrade our Shop Equipment. We have the Best and Latest Technology available to Service your Bow.

  • Facility allows for test shooting Bows:  Our Bow Shop has an area set aside for you to try out the various models of bows we have in stock. Even though all the bows we handle shoot “like a dream”, you will find that no two bows will feel or shoot exactly the same. Their overall length, riser/limb design, mass weight and cam design all influence on how the bow feels to hold, draw and shoot. This enables you to select the bow that feels most comfortable for you.

  • Chrony Arrow Meter: We can measure the speed from your specific “bow/arrow” setup. For hunters, it enables us to determine “Kinetic Energy” and the type of broad head that should be used for the type of game you are hunting. For 3D shooters, the Chronograph is used in conjunction with the “Paper Test” to custom make target arrows. This will determine the exact arrow length, fletch size and tip weight required for any particular arrow, in order to give the best and most consistent arrow flight, while maintaining maximum speed. This is very important, because a “flatter shooting” bow will give the shooter an edge when estimating “range”

  • Paper Testing and Tuning: This is recognized as the most popular method used when “tuning” a bow. Tuning determines the exact arrow rest and nock point position, in order to achieve good and consistent arrow flight from a particular set up. We use this test to also determine which Arrow will Tune to your specific set-up.The shooter is the only one who can tune their bow, since there are too many variables that affect arrow flight. Fine Tuning is done by the shooter, and there are different methods you can employ. We assist the customer in tuning their bow, and instruct them how to maintain their setup.

  • Re-Fletching Arrow Shafts:

  • Cutting Arrow Shafts & Gluing Inserts: All new shafts have to be cut to length and the inserts glued in. It is critically important to square and de-burr the ends as well as clean any carbon residue from the cut end of the arrow shaft. You must tell us the exact length you want them cut to. Arrow length is determined by measuring from the “valley” of the arrow nock to the end of the shaft. This is a “free” service with the purchase of a dozen new arrows.

  • Bow Set up and Peep Installation: When a customer buys a new bow and accessories from our shop, we install the peep and accessories for free. Otherwise, there is a charge for peep installation and for accessories not purchased from our shop.

  • Replacement of Strings & Cables: A Bow press is  required in order to replace a worn string and cables. Also, cam synchronization and cable alignment are usually required
